Gonda: The biennial convention of the Uttar Pradesh Educational Ministerial Officers Association, Devipatan Division, was held at the Government Inter College in Gonda on August 29.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, Ram Chandra, District Inspector of Schools, Gonda, along with Amit Kumar Singh, District Basic Education Officer, Satya Prakash Singh, District Social Welfare Officer, Sudhir Kumar Pandey, Nityanand Chaturvedi and I.P. Tripathi, Principal.
The convention was attended by Mohammad Nazim, Provincial General Secretary, Vijay Kumar Yadav, Provincial Observer, and Rakesh Tiwari, Divisional Election Convenor, besides office-bearers and employees representing all four districts of the Devipatan Division.
The election proceedings were conducted under the supervision of Mohammad Afzal, Assistant Teacher at Swami Vivekanand Inter College, Gonda, who served as the election officer, and Ram Chandra Srivastava, Head Assistant, the assistant election officer.
The divisional executive committee was elected unopposed, with the following office-bearers unanimously chosen:
- President: Praveen Singh
- Vice-President: Abdul Rahman
- Divisional Minister: Vaibhav Pandey
- Treasurer: Anup Kumar Singh
- Auditor: Sanjeet Upadhyay
The convention provided a platform for members from across the Devipatan Division to participate in organisational proceedings and discuss matters concerning the association and its members.
Several officials, employees and association members were present at the event, including Rahul Srivastava, V.K. Srivastava, Shiv Shyam Mishra, Shiv Lal, Raksha Ram, Vishram Verma, Shiv Jeet Singh, Parmeet Srivastava, Rahul Sharma, Pankaj Verma, Savita, Dinesh Verma, Diwakar Mishra, Mahfooz, Ghulam Usmani, Wasim, Arun Pathak and Ugrasen Singh, among others.
The successful completion of the unopposed election marked an important organisational milestone for the Uttar Pradesh Educational Ministerial Officers Association in the Devipatan Division.
